We welcome children ages three through third grade, all together in one mixed-age group. Younger children learn from older ones, and older children grow by leading, so the range is part of what makes the days work.
Our community is intentionally kept small so every child is deeply known, genuinely valued, and free to learn at their own pace. Enrollment is intentionally limited to preserve the close relationships, individualized learning, and sense of belonging that make The Finding Place so special. Once our spaces are full, we start a waiting list.
Children ages four and up come Monday through Thursday, 8:30 in the morning until 1:30 in the afternoon. Three-year-olds come Tuesday through Thursday, 8:30 until 1:30. On Tuesdays and Wednesdays, families can add optional Stay & Play from 1:30 to 3:00.
Tuition is divided into 10 equal monthly payments. The first payment is due at enrollment and reserves your child's place for the school year. It is $390 a month for age three, $460 a month for age four, and $510 a month for kindergarten through third grade.
It means we start with the child instead of a script. We watch what a child is drawn to, we add the materials and space that fit, and we let their questions steer the learning. When a child spends twenty uninterrupted minutes watching a ladybug, we protect that instead of interrupting it.
The Reggio Emilia approach trusts that children are capable and curious, and that they learn best when they can explore real things at their own pace. In practice that looks like hands-on materials, room to create and build, and adults who guide rather than lecture. We take our inspiration from it and shape it around our own children and our own outdoors.
Real learning happens here, it just isn't rushed. Because children move at their own pace in a mixed-age room, they build strong foundations without being pushed or held back. Children tend to arrive at each next stage steady, confident, and still in love with learning.
Yes. We pray together, we begin our mornings with worship, and the love of Jesus is shared in gentle, age-appropriate ways. Families of all backgrounds are warmly welcome here.
The outdoors is the heart of our day. Children have a mud kitchen, a dirt pile, a climbing wall, a tire swing, and a pirate ship, plus water play, a potion table, real tools, and an outdoor art center with painting, chalk, and a glue board.
We go out in nearly all conditions, using good judgment for extreme Texas heat and storms. With the right clothes, a little rain or mud makes for some of our best mornings.

Enrollment is open now through the first day of school, September 7. When our spaces fill, we keep a waiting list and reach out as spots open.
