We keep our group small and mixed in age on purpose. When a three-year-old and a seven-year-old share the same days, the younger ones learn by watching, the older ones grow by helping, and every child is met where they actually are instead of where a grade level says they should be. That kind of room only works when it stays small, so we keep enrollment intentionally limited, ages three through third grade. Young children thrive on rhythm more than rigid schedules. Our days follow a predictable flow that still leaves room to chase the morning's wonder, whatever it turns out to be.
Our morning get-together. Children settle in, and we share story, song, and circle time together to start the day.

Nourishing breaks in the day where children refuel, practice independence, and share a table together.
The heart of our day. A mud kitchen, dirt pile, climbing wall, tire swing, and pirate ship invite big movement, imagination, and discovery.
Water play, a potion table, real tools, and an outdoor art center with painting, chalk, and a glue board — where the process matters more than the product.
There is no bell here that says everyone must be on the same page at the same time. In a mixed-age room, a child can be reading well beyond their years and still take their time with numbers, or the other way around, and neither one is a problem to fix. It is simply where they are that week.
That freedom takes the pressure off. Children aren't labeled ahead or behind. They aren't hurried through something they haven't finished or held back from something they're ready for. They get to move at the pace their own mind is setting.
It is the same idea that runs through everything we do: we follow the child.
Our community is intentionally kept small so every child is deeply known, genuinely valued, and free to learn at their own pace. Enrollment is intentionally limited to preserve the close relationships, individualized learning, and sense of belonging that make The Finding Place so special.
Enrollment for the current school year is open now through the first day of school, September 7. When our spaces fill, we keep a waiting list, and we're always happy to walk through the details when you reach out or come for a tour.
At The Finding Place, we believe an exceptional early childhood education is an investment that lasts a lifetime. Our intentionally small class sizes, two-teacher learning environment, and Christian, nature-based approach allow us to know each child deeply, nurture their unique gifts, and inspire a genuine love of learning.
Tuition is divided into 10 equal monthly payments. The first payment is due at enrollment and reserves your child's place for the school year.
